Ca’ Riviera is conceived as a house of arts, a place where artistic practices, ideas, and cultural perspectives meet in an open and evolving dialogue. Rooted in Venice and its surrounding landscape, the project draws from Italy’s long tradition of artistic patronage and cultural exchange, while looking outward toward a global network of artists, galleries, thinkers, and institutions. Ca’ Riviera embraces the historical depth of its context while engaging with the urgencies and questions of contemporary culture. More than an exhibition space, Ca’ Riviera functions as a platform for research, experimentation, and encounter. Through exhibitions, residencies, installations, and collaborative projects, it offers artists and curators the opportunity to engage with the site, its architecture, and the broader cultural environment of Venice. The idea of a “house” lies at the heart of the project. Ca’ Riviera is imagined as a place of hospitality, a space where artists, galleries, collectors, and audiences can gather, exchange ideas, and develop new forms of cultural production. It is a place where conversations unfold across disciplines, connecting contemporary art with design, architecture, and visual culture. International in outlook yet deeply connected to its Italian context, Ca’ Riviera aims to foster a program that reflects the plurality of contemporary artistic languages. By inviting artists working across diverse media and cultural geographies, the project encourages experimentation, critical thinking, and cross-cultural dialogue. In a city historically shaped by encounters between cultures, Ca’ Riviera seeks to contribute to Venice’s evolving artistic landscape by creating a space dedicated to contemporary practice, cultural exchange, and long-term artistic research.

Ca’ Riviera is not only a venue, but a living cultural framework, a house where art is experienced, shared, and continuously reimagined.
